Kids Valentine Pictures

Hair bow - Turbans for Tots
Hudson - King of Hearts Shirt (similar here)
Harper - Heart Romper
Headband - ZoZuBaby
Shoes - Sweet N Swag

Taking Valentine pics of the kids has been something I started when Elle was a baby. I love looking back on the pictures from years past. And while the hassle of taking the pics sometimes makes me want to scrap the idea, I am always so glad I do it. Not only do I have some cute pics of the kids in their valentine outfits, I also develop the pics in various sizes and send them to our families for valentine cards. I like to develop 4x6 photos with a white border for more of a card look. I then write a love note on the back prior to sending. I also like to develop wallet size pics and have used these as classroom valentines in the past. If using for a classroom valentine, you can have your child hold a sign with a message and their name or easily add a graphic when developing. In addition, sites like Minted have adorable cards for you to personalize with your photos. Since we use the photo cards for other holidays, I like to send plain photos for our valentines and the kids have started to help writing our notes on back. Small details like using a red pen and a love stamp add cute finishing touches.
Harper was not in a super cooperative mood - there always has to be one child not in the mood for photos ;)  We managed to get a couple good pics of her. The other two cooperated great knowing there were some M&M rewards in their future!
I hope your Valentine's Week is full of love!!
XO, Brooke
