Easter Baskets & Gift Ideas

This weekend, it hit me that Easter is only a week away! It feels so early this year and, because of this, I have not been as prepared with Easter gifts. I did some power shopping this weekend and think I got quite a bit of it finished. Today I am sharing not only my favorite Easter baskets, but also some gift ideas (for those of you who have procrastinated/forgot like me!).

My favorite Easter baskets are the Potterybarn Kids personalized liners and baskets. They are so classic and sweet. The kids each have their special, nice basket for when the Easter Bunny comes. I am hesitant to bring these with us to Easter egg hunts, since I do not want the kids to ruin their nice baskets and they are kind of large for them to carry around. This year, I ordered smaller fabric baskets (personalized of course!) and they worked out great at our first Easter egg hunt. I think these Seersucker and Boy Girl Bunnies baskets are darling. I do think it is worth the extra money to personalize...they will have these for many years, right?!

I am also sharing some gift ideas today. Since it is getting so close to the day when the Bunny arrives, I picked items that can be delivered in time :)  For the kids' Easter baskets, I tend to lean towards items they need for this summer such as swim wear and outdoor fun. I try to have a good mix of items they need + some fun toys and minimal candy ;)

Boys Easter Gift Ideas

I got Hudson these Trunks,  Rash Guard and Flip FlopsTowels are always a good gift heading into swim season. We need to replace our Sidewalk Chalk and Kites, so these will likely appear in his basket as well. Last year, he got his Micro Scooter and this has been a favorite for sure. The kids love to help plan the garden, so I think this cute Boys Garden set will be a hit. Finally, every boy needs a good water gun, so I ordered this Super soaker.

Girls Easter Gift Ideas

I end up putting a lot of the same items in their baskets - especially ones that we need to replace often or are ones they will both use, such as these Bubbles and Hula Hoops. I also got Elle a Girls Garden kit like Hudson's and this Sprinkler that they will all use. Along with the swim theme, the darling Floral SwimCover UpFlip FlopsTowel, and Sunglasses will have Elle set for summer.

Baby Easter Gift Ideas
Babies are so much easier when it comes to Easter gifts :)  I think one of my favorite items to have ever put in their Easter baskets is the Runaway Bunny Book - such a sweet story of a mother's love. I also love the simple, yet fun Squeak Eggs - all 3 kids still play with these and they kind of go along with the spring theme. Swim items will appear in Harper's basket just like the other two and she will be getting some new Beach/Pool Bucket toys.

Hope this gives you some ideas for easy (and close to last minute!) gift ideas for Easter! It is always such a relief to have the shopping done and I get so excited to set their baskets up.

Have a great week! Elle will be on Spring Break starting on Thursday and we have some fun surprises planned!! Stay tuned ;)

XO, Brooke
