Back to School Gear

School starts this week (insert crying emoji here). I mean, there is a part of me that is ready for the routine, but with only one in school full time, I think it isn't that same huge relief to have them back in school that I will likely feel when they are older. Going back through these pictures of last year's first day of Kindergarten for Elle and first day of Preschool for Hudson is giving me all the feels. I can't believe she will be in first grade this year!! Hudson will continue on in Preschool and I am really going to miss our carefree summer days all at home together. Both kids are super excited and we are gearing up for back to school this week. Sharing some of my school gear today including those adorable backpacks the kids (and their little friends) are wearing :) PS - they are all on sale right now and free shipping!!

I am in love with this sign!! I have hand written my signs out each year, but this simplifies things A LOT!! I ordered it and hoping it arrives before the first day!! Be sure to get chalk markers to be able to write a little clearer than regular chalk.

I am pretty sure I get more excited over backpacks than my kids do ;) My go-to backpack has always been the Pottery Barn Kids Mackenzie. The great thing about these (other than the most adorable prints) are the multiple size options. Recently I have discovered a lot of other cute, durable backpacks out there like this sweet heart backpack. I adore this stripe bag as well as this fun Vador bag.

In addition to the usual back to school supplies, I always find a couple fun items that get the kids excited and serve great purposes too. I ordered the kids these water bottles and this fun Lego ruler. I am super excited about these math cubes - Elle used these a lot in Kindergarten and I am excited to be able to use them as a study tool at home for working on adding and subtracting. Finally, the bento box insert for the lunch box was one of my favorite things last year!! I loved saving baggies, and I felt like I was serving those super cute lunches that Weelicious whips up ;)

Will be sharing some more back to school this week!

xo, Brooke
