Easy Holiday Planters

I hope you enjoyed my holiday home tour last week!! We had a party here this weekend and it was fun kicking off the holiday season! I finished up my winter planters this week before the party, and I am sharing the easy details of how to create these.

I use faux greenery - while I love the look and smell of fresh, it is less expensive for me to re-use the same faux greenery each year. Also, it lasts longer than fresh.
To start, I added 3 birch sticks to the planter. I then stuck in sprigs of greenery and berries I had accumulated throughout the years from Hobby Lobby, Michaels, and local nurseries. I start with the pieces closest to the birch sticks and then add tallest to shortest. There is no wrong way to add these. Take a step back and eye where you need another pop of red or sprig standing up.
I love the lighted branches I added this year - they look so pretty at night!

Have a great week!!
XO, Brooke
