Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – What I Bought

Happy Friday, friends!! The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is now open to all!! This is still a great time to buy – especially if items you wanted sold out. Nordstrom will often restock some items for the general sale. Refer to my previous posts for Early Favorites & Dressing Room Looks, Best of Womens, and Best of Beauty, Kids, and Home. Today I am sharing what I bought from the sale!! I tend to buy a lot of reasonably priced, every day, casual wear with a couple splurges mixed in 🙂

BP Sweater – at only $35, this cold-shoulder sweater is a no-brainer. It is very soft and cozy and will be perfect this winter. It runs really big, so size down. I am wearing an XXS.

JCrew Top – Another no-brainer for me. This classic stripe top is a little thicker which makes it look really nice. The white cuff sleeves can be worn long or flipped up. You can never go wrong with stripes!!

Hinge Tie front sweat shirt – Love this sweatshirt. It will look great with leggings this fall/winter. I love that it is thin and has a larger neck with more of a loose fit. This sold out the first day of early access. There are a couple similar on the sale here and here and here.

Ruffle Sleeve Top – this statement top is so fun!! It will be easy to dress up or down and I am thinking it will be sweet with white jeans in the spring – a rare 3 season top!

BP Cardigan – this cardigan also sold out on early access. It is only $30 and is perfect for fall layering. I like this particular cardigan better than others because of its lighter weight as well as the material – seems like it is less likely to pill. These sold out 🙁 but check out this post for some other great cardigans still in stock!!

V neck T-shirt – well this seemed to be the top of the sale ,) And I totally understand why!! It is light-weight and super soft. At only $15, I bought in 4 colors (white, blush, grey, & navy). If you see this in stock, buy!!

BP Stripe T – another great top at a low price. These soft, comfy tops become a go to in the winter and fall because they are perfect to layer or wear by themselves. I got this in stripe, white, and black.

Hudson Jeans – I didn’t want to love these jeans ,) I have so many pairs of jeans and told myself I wasnt going to buy on the sale. What I love is how soft and stretchy they are. Plus, the raw, uneven hem looks perfect with booties and flats (below). If you are in need of a nice pair of jeans, these are it.

Vince Camuto Booties – there were so many great options for booties on the sale!! I tried almost all of them on, and these were my favorites for a couple reasons. They were the most comfortable. I loved the side slit detail for a more updated look. They were also priced very reasonably at $99.

Leopard Mules – I adore these mules!! Perfect way to update a basic top and jeans!

Halogen Zip Coat – this wool coat is super flattering. It is heavy enough to be a winter coat. I love that it is a really light heather grey – will look good with everything. This runs big – size down.

Halogen drape Vest – This cashmere vest is AMAZING. So so so soft as you would expect with cashmere. I think the long draping is super flattering. This vest is perfect for fall layering.
BP mules – these great mules come in 3 colors. They are only $50. I sometimes prefer these types of mules to a peep toe bootie because they work a little easier with jeans (no need to roll) and make my legs look longer.

Whit & Wisdom jeans – so I wanted a pair of jeans that were comfortable enough to wear all day when I am home with the kids and running around. I sometimes don’t want to wear my nicer jeans on a day to day basis because I don’t want to ruin them. I love that these are reasonably priced, so I can wear them getting dirty with the kids, but they are also super cute.

Bell Sleeve top – This top is described as fleece, but it is super thin and soft – almost feels and drapes more like cashmere. Seeing it in person and on made me love it – I don’t think the online pics do it justice. A lot of the grey sizes have sold out, but it is available in lots of colors!

Red leggings – I was hoping they would have some red leggings on the sale – and I was not disappointed! I like that these are ankle length and high waisted – read flattering.
Adidas muscle tank – I love these vintage inspired tanks! I am wearing an XS and there is still some room in it.

Nike tank – I had to get this one in white and the adidas in black – I couldn’t decide which I liked better! They are priced similarly.

Motto leggings – these were all the rage this spring. These Zella leggings are just as cute and about half the price of the others! I love the mesh detail on the thighs.

Nike Joggers – One of my fav buys! These are so so cute and will be perfect year round. Paired with the best V neck.

Lounge Leggings – ok, I never understood the hype over these treasure and trove lounge pants until I tried them on! Amazing. They are the most comfortable pants I have EVER owned. Now I need to get the top that goes with! Similar here. Shown with pink Nikes.

Zella warp – another favorite purchase! I got this in black a couple years ago and am constantly asked about it. It is a year round item for me and I am happy to have it in grey now!

Check Scarf – for only $15, this soft scarf will be great for fall and winter by itself or with jackets and cards.

Leopard scarf – I love little pops of cheetah print and think this scarf is just darling!

Velvet skirt – pleated skirts were huge last winter, and they are likely going to be big again this year. The velvet is more of an updated look. I plan on pairing this with some blouses, a turtleneck or this shell and adding a statement necklace. Will be perfect for holiday parties.

Black shell – I feel like the black shell/mock turtleneck is a closet staple. I like this one because it is stretchy and a little thicker so you can’t see thru it at all.
Blush shorts – these were another one of my favorite finds. You can easily pair with a t-shirt or sweater (below). They are super flattering and are a good 3 season short.

Floral dress – this picture doesn’t do the dress justice, but it is one of the most flattering dresses I have ever worn. And it was only $35!! I love the high-low detail.

Blush mules – this was one of my splurges. These Kate Spade mules are going to be my alternative to my ballet flats. They are sooooo pretty and add a fun element to a basic outfit. I did have to size up 1/2 size!

Silver sweater – This think sweater is super flattering and looks great with these short and I also picture it with skirts and jeans. I am wearing an XS and it runs big to keep that drapey effect.

Stripe leggings – I forgot to take a pic of these!! One of my favorite purchases this year! These zella leggings are high waisted and are white/light grey with small black stripes – super flattering!! Will be great with black (or other colored) tops! Also got this Zella bra to go with all my activewear!

I hope you all have fun shopping the sale!! Check back soon and I will be sharing the best of what is left! Also, follow along on insta, I will try to keep you updated of things that return to stock!
