Rug Lantern Pendant Light Entry Table Umbrella Stand Mirror Hello! I am excited to share another room reveal with you today! Our entry before and after are above I love seeing these before pictures. It is kind of a reminder of how far we have come and also make me glad I was able to see through the original state and envision what it could be! The dining room is just off the entry you can see that previous reveal here.
Sources and colors will all be listed below! As in the dining room, the slate floor was torn out and replaced with pre-finished hardwood floors. We had the ceilings, walls, and woodwork all painted. There were no light fixtures in this area and we were able to add an entry fixture. I had ordered these lantern pendants for the kitchen, and they were just not the right size or style for that space, so we put one of them in the entry and I love how it turned out. The entry is a larger traffic way from the stairs, so I wanted to keep the furniture in this space minimal and low profile. I found this awesome entry table at Target for such a reasonable price. It is narrow and fits the space perfectly. I love the gold detail with the mirror.
Once again, I brought in my friend and designer, Erica Bryant, to help me with the final staging. She helped me select this gorgeous rug I love the bold pattern in this space. This rug is one of my favorite purchases for the house! She also helped me with staging the area things like the umbrella stand, pineapple picture, table decor all little touches that add so much to the space. And while small touches, they cumulatively create the feel of the space! Erica is so talented and knows my style so well and I am so grateful for her help! Now, the big questionI just had my woodwork painted white. Do I paint my front door (the interior side) black?? One of my close friends just did this and I love the look! Would love your input!!
