Powder Bath Refresh with CKF

My home renovations continue and I am excited to share our most recent project with you! We initially updated the bathroom back when we moved in – see that post here. One of my bigger regrets was not updating the counter at that time. I loved the dark navy color with the bright white cabinets, but the dated granite and faucet took away from those features.

For our kitchen counters, we used Cambria Quartz from CKF and have been so happy with the look and function. For the powder bath we knew we wanted a similar natural stone look and once again turned to CKF to help bring our vision to life! Cambria Quartz has so many different options of solid stone surfaces, it can be hard to know where to start.

To begin, we visited CKF showroom for some inspiration and to select the counter surface. The gorgeous showroom not only has the different counters shown in different rooms, but also giant slabs of the stone surfaces so you can appreciate it on a larger scale. I went in thinking I wanted to use the same as our kitchen (Cambria Quartz “Ella”), but after looking at the large slabs, it became a much more difficult decision! One of the styles, Cambria Quartz “Skara Brae”, stood out to us. It had beautiful larger movements and also small veins of navy.

After narrowing down the surface style, we met with one of the designers to discuss the details. This is one of the most helpful features that CKF offers! Their designers walk you through step by step and help you not only identify decisions you need to make, but also offer their professional opinion on these decisions. In addition to the style of counter, we also needed to select sink style, counter edge profile, counter finish, and faucet. The details are listed below!

The finished product could not be any more perfect! It is so amazing how dramatic the change is! The entire space is brightened and it fits the style so much better. With how easy this project was, I am already starting my list of future projects! If you are considering projects, I highly encourage you to head to one of the CKF showrooms (Omaha, Lincoln, Des Moines, and Kansas City) to check out not only their gorgeous Cambria selection, but also their other stone surfaces, cabinets, home organization!

XO, Brooke
